The Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra (EYSO) is bringing student musicians together in person this week through its annual Summer Chamber Music Camp (SCMC), culminating in two in-person concerts on Friday, July 30 at 5:45 and 7 p.m. where SCMC camp students will showcase their hard work and celebrate chamber music.
Students from fourth grade to college with two or more years of instruction on their instrument are invited to audition for the 2021-22 EYSO season on May 27-30 at the Elgin Community College Arts Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, IL Auditions will be held in-person and students must complete an online application at https://www.eyso.org/join-eyso
