EYSO'S "A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES"

WEDNESDAY, JUNE | 7pm

Movie lovers of all ages will enjoy this live performance featuring students from EYSO's Youth Symphony.  The evening will include the unforgettable scores from blockbuster movies including Pirates of the Caribbean, West Side Story, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and MORE! SUMMER CHAMBER MUSIC CAMP

It's not too late to register for EYSO's Summer Chamber Music Camp. This week-long Summer Chamber Music Camp divides string players into trios, quartets and quintets based on their age and ability. Each group will work with a regular coach and spend 3-4 hours together each day. The camp also includes masterclasses, classes in composition, Alexander Technique to improve posture and promote relaxation, listening workshops, and performances and mentoring by KAIA String ensemble: a total of more than 35 hours of instruction. 2022 SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT @ EYSO

EYSO is excited to once again offer two paid summer positions for high school juniors, seniors, or recent graduates. Funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency, these part-time (20 hrs/week) student employees will work closely with our administrative staff and learn all about what happens "behind the scenes" at EYSO!Click the job descriptions to read more, and spread the word: these positions aren't only for EYSO students! Any interested and eligible candidate is welcome to submit application materials to jobs@eyso.org by June 3, 2022.

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

EYSO is in need of volunteers to assist with auditions Thursday, May 26 through Sunday, May 29. Volunteer opportunities include audition warm-up room monitors and audition room assistance. If you have never volunteered with EYSO, this is your perfect chance. No musical experience is required! To register, click here.
