TIME: EYSO’s 50th Season
This year EYSO invites you to explore the theme of Time—past, present, and future. Through three concerts—It’s All Relative, In a Single Moment, and Infinite Possibilities—we journey into the philosophy and experience of time itself. From reflections on history and relationships, to the urgency of the present, to bold visions of the future, this season celebrates EYSO’s timeline while imagining what lies ahead. Blending artistic, cultural, and scientific influences, TIME asks us to consider not just how we measure time, but how we live it.

2026 HCE Spring Recital

On June 3, our Honors Chamber Ensembles take the stage for an unforgettable evening of music—from bold new works to beloved masterworks—all performed by some of our most accomplished young musicians.
2026-2027 Auditions
Elgin Community College 1700 Spartan Drive, ElginEYSO is for everyone. For instrumentalists from 4th grade to college, playing for 2 years or 12, EYSO aims to find a place for each student to grow in one of our five orchestras, specialty ensembles, and the one-of-a-kind Chamber Music Institute. Audition for to find YOUR place at EYSO from May 28-31.
Infinite Possibilities – 7:00 PM
Blizzard Theater at ECC Arts Center 1700 Spartan Dr Building H, ElginAs part of EYSO’s 50th anniversary, this concert explores the future of our musical journey. From avant-garde works to bold new initiatives, students investigate time, intention, and the possibilities that lie ahead.
