EYSO IN THE NEWS

Thank you to the Daily Herald for covering EYSO's latest project Starter Strings. Now in its sixth week, the program is flourishing with 36 of the 49 fourth graders at Oakhill Elementary (Streamwood, IL) participating.

Starter Strings is an initiative that eliminates some of the traditional barriers of classical music education. In addition to being tuition free, all students received access to rental instruments free of charge thanks to William Harris Lee & Company.

Sixteen EYSO students performed at this annual event for the opportunity to play as soloists at upcoming concerts in EYSO’s 2021-22 season.
