Volunteer with EYSO
We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals to help support EYSO events, welcome students and families, and contribute to the positive experiences that define our programs. Volunteering is a simple yet impactful way to give back, connect with our community, and be part of the journey for young musicians.

Who Can Volunteer?

No prior experience is required—just a willingness to help and support young musicians.
Fall Camp Support
Fall Camp is a cornerstone of the EYSO experience and relies heavily on volunteer support.
Examples include:
- Student check-in and supervision
- Meal coordination and snack support
- Overnight Chaperones
- Room monitors and runners
- General logistical help
This is a great opportunity to volunteer intensively over a short period of time and quickly get to know the EYSO community.

Open House & Auditions
Volunteers help create a welcoming first impression for prospective families.
Examples include:
- Greeting families and answering general questions
- Check-in and information tables
- Helping direct students and parents
Board of Directors
EYSO’s Board of Directors provides leadership, governance, and strategic support for the organization.
Board members:
- Serve as ambassadors for EYSO
- Support fundraising and community partnerships
- Help guide the long-term vision of the organization
Weekly Rehearsal Support
Volunteers help ensure Sunday rehearsals begin smoothly by assisting with student check-in and arrival support.
Examples include:
- Greeting students and families upon arrival
- Managing student check-in each Sunday
- Directing students to rehearsal spaces as needed
Recruitment & Community Outreach
Help EYSO grow by sharing information about our programs and connecting with prospective students and families.
Examples include:
- Sharing EYSO information within schools and community groups
- Assisting at recruitment tables and outreach events
- Helping distribute flyers or digital materials
- Serving as an EYSO ambassador within the community
Special Skills &
Professional Expertise
Do you have an area of expertise or skill that you think could uniquely benefit EYSO? Volunteers bring specialized skills that can support EYSO in unique and meaningful ways.
