We know that being a kid is EXPENSIVE— especially those who are heavily involved like EYSO students. We work hard to make EYSO ensembles and programs affordable to everyone.
Tuition for EYSO ensembles ranges from $500-$1300. This only accounts for about one-third of the cost per student to EYSO. Thanks to the support of many generous community and audience members, local businesses, the City of Elgin, and more, we are able to significantly reduce the cost of tuition to you.
Tuition Assistance or Scholarships are available to anyone who requests it, covering 10% to 100% of tuition. Just indicate your request for assistance during enrollment and briefly explain your need—no financial documents required.
On average, students with Tuition Assistance receive a 50% reduction in costs. About 20% of EYSO students receive some amount of assistance or scholarship.
To ease the burden of tuition on all families, EYSO offers flexible payment plans of four or six installments. Payment plans may be requested through the Member Portal after audition results are announced.
Auditions for the 2026-27 Season will be held May 28-31 at Elgin Community College.
Audition applications will open and requirements will be posted on February 1.
