Tracy Dullea is a freelance bassist and private strings/piano teacher in St. Charles, IL, where she lives with her adoring fiancé, Nate, two amazing daughters, Anna (19) and Erin (16), 4 cats, 5 chickens, and a dog. As a string teacher, she has adjudicated All-Regional Band and Orchestra Festivals and has led Elementary, Middle School, and High School programs including touring with McNeil HS and Corona del Sol HS Symphony Orchestras.
She served as Principal Bass of the Arizona Opera Orchestra, a section player in the Austin Symphony, Austin Lyric Opera, and Honolulu Symphony, and regularly subs in our own Elgin Symphony. She also served as Music Director and Middle School Youth group facilitator at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Geneva, IL for 13 years. She is passionate about making personal connections, using music as a conduit to bring people together, and guiding students to believe in their best selves through what they can accomplish and experience through music.
