Diane Stredde recently retired from an Administrative Assistant III position at Elgin Community College in the Arts Center. Her innovative thinking led to a career in Process Improvement in several businesses and organizations including participation in development of an award-winning coroner’s database program, saving a daycare from bankruptcy, and starting an alumni association for ECC to name a few. Her board experience includes six years on the Board of Trustees for Elgin Community College. She is an accomplished musician and was a charter member of the Elgin Area Youth Orchestra (now known as EYSO) as a violist and later became the Operations Manager for several years. Her passion for music started at the age of two and continues today. She lives in Pingree Grove with her husband Doug. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
